SARCDA CLEANS UP AT 2009 EXSA AWARDS

SARCDA is no stranger to being lauded at the annual Exhibitions & Events Association of Southern Africa (EXSA) Awards function – both the company’s Johannesburg-based exhibitions and its managing director, Rina Fortmann have been recognised in the past – but this year SARCDA outdid itself, garnering no less than four awards.

SARCDA International 2009 pulled off a hat trick, receiving the Exhibition of the Year award in the “trade: 6001 - 12 000sqm” category for the third year running.

SARCDA Christmas 2009 received the Exhibition of the Year award in the “trade: 12 001sqm and over” category.

SARCDA Trade Exhibitions was honoured with the Excellence Award for the Best Organising Company of the Year and exhibition manager, Teresia Stander received the Excellence Award for Best Organiser Employee of the Year.

“The EXSA awards are an important yardstick within the local exhibition industry and are highly valued by industry members who appreciate the fact that the accolade is bestowed by their peers, which makes it all the more meaningful,” says Fortmann.
