ABOUT OUR PRODUCTS

The Happy Struggling Artist creates proudly South African art, gifts and collectables inspired by our extraordinary wildlife. Our range includes the much-loved SA Animal Alphabet, a hand-crafted Wooden Animal Sculpture range, greeting cards, bottle cap magnets, and a curated selection of photo-realistic wildlife prints, original artworks and an annual calendar with a twist. At its core, our work is about storytelling through art -- celebrating wildlife in a way that feels honest, heartfelt and beautifully made!

WE'D LIKE YOU TO KNOW...

Quality, craftsmanship and originality are at the heart of everything we do. Our products are thoughtfully designed, sustainably made where possible, and each hand-crafted piece is inherently unique (just how we like it!). From accessible, high-turnover gift items to standout decor pieces for homes, hotels, lodges and galleries, our range offers something genuinely distinctive and refreshingly different.

MEET THE EXHIBITOR

The Happy Struggling Artist is a small, hands-on business run by artist Corinne Erasmus, where every artwork and product is shaped by her hands from concept to completion. She is joined by her husband Alex Kibalenko, masterful craftsman behind our wooden creations, and Thea Theron, assistant extraordinaire who keeps the wheels turning and the details sharp. Together, we believe in honest work, beautiful things, and doing business with heart (and a good sense of humour!).
