ABOUT OUR PRODUCTS

Nyambose Group is a South African design studio creating architectural furniture that is sculptural, sustainable, and culturally resonant. One of our signature pieces, Ubuntu Curve, is a modular table and bench system inspired by the South African philosophy of "I am because we are." Crafted from FSC-certified solid timber and recycled steel, Ubuntu Curve combines architectural elegance with circular design principles. Winner of the German Design Awards 2026 in both Furniture and Circular Design categories, and exhibited at Ambiente Frankfurt 2026, Ubuntu Curve is designed for homes, hospitality spaces, and public environments – bringing people together through thoughtful, minimalist design. We also offer a curated collection of ceramic plates, designed to complement the Ubuntu Curve experience.

Ubuntu Curve is engineered according to circular economy principles, using recycled steel and sustainably sourced timber to minimise environmental impact. The design's convergent form subtly guides people toward one another, transforming communal seating into a physical embodiment of togetherness. Our commitment to sustainability extends to every aspect of our work – from material selection to production processes. We believe that great design should not only be beautiful and functional but also environmentally responsible. Ubuntu Curve is a testament to this philosophy, proving that South African design can lead the world in both innovation and sustainability.

 

MEET THE EXHIBITOR

Nyambose Group was founded by Mangaliso Mtetwa, a South African architect and designer with a passion for creating spaces and objects that connect people. With a background in architecture and a deep appreciation for South African design philosophy, Mangaliso leads a small, dedicated team committed to excellence, craftsmanship, and sustainability. Our work has been recognised internationally – including the German Design Awards 2026 and exhibition at Ambiente Frankfurt 2026 – and we are proud to showcase Ubuntu Curve at SARCDA Christmas 2026.

SARCDA Rules & Regulations

  • Only registered trade visitors will be allowed into the exhibition.
  • No children under 16 will be allowed into the exhibition. Proof of age may be required.
  • No infants allowed into the exhibition.
  • No pets will be allowed into the exhibition.
  • No photographs to be taken.
  • No selling off stands or removal of stock or samples from stands.
